When the Ducks step on the field in Berkeley on Saturday afternoon, they'll do so with new special-edition cleats (for skill position players, at least). They had special Vapor Carbon remake cleats for the season-opener, but this time former player and current Nike designer Mattrell McGraw has cooked up Vapor DT Max '96 cleats for the Oregon football team. This model was first revealed earlier this month and billed as an exclusive model for Kyler Murray. Since that first colorway for Murray was revealed, three more PE colorways have been shown off as well. The Ducks will be first college program (possibly the last, too) and first players outside of Kyler Murray to don these cleats that are meant to be a tribute to the Nike Air DT Max '96, which was originally the third signature shoe Nike produced for Deion Sanders.
