The Ducks are storming the Palouse in their all-white uniforms this Saturday for their first true road game of the 2022 season and Pac-12 opener! This is by and large the same combo as what was worn in the Ducks' momentous victory at Ohio State in Week 2 of last season, but there are two small differences: new white gloves with an apple green "Oregon" wordmark across the palms, and updated white cleats with apple green soleplates instead of iridescent dark green. White jersey/white pant combinations have become a favorite for Oregon in recent years, and just last year they wore some variation (including the Eggshell alternates) four times. The Ducks have also worn white jerseys and pants in their last two visits to Pullman, in 2018 and 2020, but they didn't have white helmets on either of those occasions. In fact, the only previous time that Oregon has worn white helmets against Washington State was in last year's 38-24 home victory. Washington State will be wearing mono-anthracite against the Ducks, the same combo they wore in 2018 when College Gameday visited Pullman and the Cougs knocked off the Ducks.
