Game 2 Uniforms: New Yellow Helmets

For the home opener, the Ducks will be debuting new yellow helmets and wearing a yellow/yellow/black combination. The upgraded yellow lids feature black wings (and facemasks) for the first time in program history. The only other time a yellow/yellow/black uniform combination has been worn was back in 2008 vs. Boise State, though that combo featured the infamous "grellow" helmets instead of helmets with a true yellow finish. Coach Lanning and co. will be hoping for a lightning fast start on Saturday after the drubbing they experienced against Georgia, so it's only right that they wear a uniform combo that leans heavily on lightning yellow.
